FIRST PLACE UNLT FWD!

Chris Rado and the WORLD Racing team are now 3 for 3 on class wins and FWD track records with their Scion tC in the Redline Time Attack Championship Series. The WORLD Racing team unveiled their new methanol injection system for the first time early on Saturday at the Nashville Super Speedway and welcomed new team member, tuning and data acquisition specialist James Lin, who helped the team fine tune their Kubo built 2.7 Liter Toyota 2AZFE Stroker Engine to over 900 WHP. The added power made for one hellish ride, as the Scion tC created major tire-spin at upwards of 170 MPH. Luckily the Hankook tires stood strong, no matter how they ripped, allowing the Scion tC to record the fastest overall speeds of the weekend. With added power rarely unheard of, Chris and the WORLD Racing crew sought the help of their chassis and aerodynamics consultant Ron Mathis to tame the beast. Flying in on Sunday from Indianapolis, Ron assisted the crew in adding a bit more stability for Chris. With all the combined ideas, Chris and the WORLD crew were able to break yet another FWD track record, first in FWD and second overall clocking in at 1:03.084.
